RFA (Restricted Free Agent): Defined as a player who has an expired contract and was not tagged or Aced. These players will be released by the commissioner leading up to the auction and will be added to a list of available player to bid on. The owner who owned the player before they were released has the right to match the bids throughout the bidding process.
1.) RFA officially opens May 1st at 12:00 AM EST....
2.) Franchises cannot bid more GLB's than they have total. (this includes combined amounts bid in numerous auctions). Total of all your bids can not exceed the amount you have. No exceptions. If you go over. Last bid you made will be removed by commish
3.) First 2 weeks of RFA (May 1st- May 14th) Each franchise is allowed to nominate one player for auction at a time.
** Starting May 15th at 12:00 AM EST .. each franchise can nominate up to 2 people at a time.
4.) Each player nominated should be given a new thread. Topic should be players name, position, and team holding rights to said player.
EX: Carson Palmer, QB, Night Pugs
5.) Only bids should be posted, no comments or anything of the such. Any comments, etc... should be posted in official RFA discussion Thread... Anything posted besides bids will be removed by commish.
6.) You MAY NOT edit any posts in the RFA board. Any posts that are edited will automatically be null and void and will be deleted....
7.) If 24 hours pass between bids, the auction is closed and awarded to the last bidder.
8.) Commish will keep an official list of all auctions won from the previous day.
9.) Any Restricted Free Agent can be nominated at any time. There are no rules as to positions or anything like that. ( i.e. QB's and TE's only week 1, etc....)
10.) When final auction closes, a 5 day period will be established to announce all contracts. If contract is NOT announced during this window a default one year contract will be assigned to said player. Contracts will be posted in your franchise headquarters thread.
11.) Any player not bid upon at auction can be resigned by the team holding his rights at no cost.
12.) Make sure you have Observing Daylight Savings Time checked off in your profile...
13.) Starting bid for tagged players must start at at least $1 more than the tag price. Ex. Transition tag (2nd round tag) starting bid must be at least $21 and the Franchise tag starting bid must at least start at $26.
Just for you to align the times.... this was posted at 10:37 AM PST
